Budget Service

The Budget Service started in 1989 with training of the first budget advisors through the Waiheke Budgeting Service.  There have been 3 Budget Service Coordinators to date and at present there are 2 active Budget Advisors.  This service provides help with budgeting and holds community workshops.

Counselling

Counselling is available on a regular basis and is subsidised by the Aotea Family Support Group. It is available to people of all ages and is provided by fully qualified family counsellors. There is a small cost for the first consultation. All children’s counselling is free.

Support Group Library

This extensive Resource Library is housed in the waiting room of the Health Centre at Claris.  It was first started to provide free Health & Wellbeing information to all residents.  It is administered by the Community Worker Gael Johnson.

Resource Hire

The marquee and other items of equipment owned by the Trust are available to the community for hire.

Community Van

Primarily for use by the youth of the island, the van is also used to transport seniors to Arts and Crafts most weeks. It is also available for use on a discretionary basis by other community groups when needed.
