Aotea Family Support Group has been supporting our island since 1988. Our mission is simple: to give every island resident the chance to live a healthy, fulfilling, independent life, and fully participate in our unique community.

Our Services

We provide support for all those who need it – whether you're an older resident, a new mum, a teenager looking to build confidence, struggling with mental health or addiction, living with disability, or recovering from injury.

We offer free counselling, crisis support, home help (including personal cares), subsidised maintenance work on your home, youth mentoring, rangatahi development programmes, community resilience programmes, WINZ liaison.
